The water is back on in Thunderbird Meadows!
The water is off on Betty Lue and Magby and from 8750 Steven Trl. to 9105 Donald Trl. The remainder of Thunderbird Meadows will probably experience low water pressure. We’re still determining the extent of the damage and needed repairs. We don’t have a time estimate yet for service to be restored.
WMCC is shutting off the water to Betty Lue and perhaps other streets in the area. A company putting in a power pole hit the water main. We’ll know more once we have turned off the water and can assess the damage.
Beginning Monday, February 2, 2026, WMCC will be upgrading water lines on Stevenage Ln. Because of the design of the water system, most customers who live on Stevenage, Claridge, Farringdon, Carnaby, Canterbury, Devon, and Trafalgar, along with a couple properties on Walden and Hwy 89, will be affected, and your property is included. (9:05 PM) The water is back on for those east of Walden Blvd.
(7:40 PM) The pump at the Mayo water tank went out, so people who live on the east side of Walden Blvd. are affected. WMCC is working to fix the problem.
Apologies for the last-minute notification, but the water will be off on the east side of Walden about 10:00 this morning for approximately 1/2 hour.

There’s a small chance that WMCC will need to turn off the water for a couple hours tomorrow morning (Tuesday, Dec. 9) to everyone on the east side of Walden Blvd. We hope not, but we want to give people a heads-up just in case.
About 3:00 today, the water will be turned off on the east side of Walden Blvd. A pipe fitting broke, and the repair is somewhat extensive. WMCC will try to get the water back on as soon as possible, but it may take several hours. Please fill bottles with water to use while your water…
