Water Off This Morning on the East Side of Walden Blvd.

Unfortunately, WMCC has to turn off the water about 10:30 this morning. Almost everyone on the church side of the highway will be affected. It’ll be off for several hours. There is a water leak on Stevenage. We’re not certain, but we may have to shut off water to most of the west side of Hwy. 89. Please fill up containers with water. We will work as quickly as possible to complete the repair. Thank you for your patience. (8:38 AM)

Good news! It was a service line, not a main, that was leaking. The water will not be shut off! (10:18 AM)

There’s a small chance that WMCC will need to turn off the water for a couple hours tomorrow morning (Tuesday, Dec. 9) to everyone on the east side of Walden Blvd. We hope not, but we want to give people a heads-up just in case.

Monday, June 30, the water will be off from about 11:00-3:00 to repair a leak. Roads affected: Barrington, Shelburne, Mather, Hampton, Red Rock, Northridge, Bristol, Putnam, Lowell, and Framingham. Possibly Derry and west Wexford. Fill up water jugs to use while the water is off. Thanks for your understanding.
